Day 1 Depart USA
Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Africa.

Day 2 Arrive Cape Town
Arrive in Cape Town this afternoon where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa

Day 3 Cape Town
Begin the day with a half-day tour of the city. See Table Mountain before heading through the Cape Malay Quarter. Visit the Castle (the oldest building in South Africa) before ending the tour at the moving District Six Museum. After lunch on your own, you will be transferred to the Waterfront for the short ferry ride to Robben Island. Now a World Heritage Site, Robben Island is perhaps the most symbolically significant sight in South Africa and your tour will include visits to the prison block, the limestone quarry and a drive around the island. Day 4 Cape Town
Depart Cape Town for a scenic drive along the Atlantic Coast to Hout Bay (where you may opt to visit Seal Island). Continue to the Cape Point Nature Reserve and the Cape Of Good Hope. After lunch, your drive back to Cape Town takes you via Boulders Beach where you have the opportunity to see the only penguins found on the continent of Africa. Continue via Simonstown and through the seaside towns of St. James and Muizenberg, returning to Cape Town late this afternoon. Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa

Day 5 Cape Town-Victoria Falls
Fly to Johannesburg early this morning, where you connect to the flight bound for Victoria Falls. After lunch (which is on your own), enjoy a sundowner cruise along the Zambezi. The River Club

Day 6 Victoria Falls
This morning, enjoy a tour of the Falls, followed by a visit to a Traditional Living Village where you will have the opportunity to see how the various tribes of Zimbabwe live. The remainder of the day is at leisure. The River Club

Day 7 Victoria Falls - Johannesburg
The morning is at leisure before transferring to the airport for the flight to Johannesburg. Your hotel is conveniently located just across from the main terminal at the airport. Airport Sun Inter-Continental

Day 8 Johannesburg-Nairobi
Fly to Nairobi this morning, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. This evening, enjoy dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant. Nairobi Serena Hotel

Day 9 Nairobi-Masai Mara
Transfer to the airport for the short light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara. Here, lodge vehicles will meet and transfer you to the camp. After lunch, enjoy your first game drive in the park. Mara Serena Lodge

Day 10 Masai Mara
Rise early this morning for a game drive before breakfast. Return to the lodge for time at leisure before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Among the variety of wildlife, you might see lion, cheetah, hippo, giraffe, gazelle, elephant and a host of birdlife. Look carefully for the lilac breasted roller, one of the prettiest birds in Kenya. Mara Serena Lodge

Day 11 Masai Mara ? Nairobi
After breakfast, depart on the morning flight back to Nairobi. This afternoon, travel out into the Ngong Hills and visit the former home of Karen von Blixen, now a museum. Then, continue on to the Giraffe Center for a delightful time feeding the giraffe.

Day 12 Nairobi-Serengeti
Fly to Arusha this morning and connect to the light aircraft flight to the northwestern corridor of the Serengeti. Camp vehicles will greet you at the airstrip and transfer you to your luxury camp with spectacular views of the plains. Enjoy a cocktail before an extraordinary dinner, complete with china and crystal service. Kirawira Tented Camp

Day 13 Serengeti
Rise early this morning for a game drive in the park, returning to the camp for breakfast and some leisure time. The camp's terrace faces out over the plains and is ideal for catching up on journal entries, or writing postcards. This afternoon, out for another game drive. Kirawira Tented Camp

Day 14 Serengeti-Nairobi
Fly by light aircraft to Arusha, where you connect to the flight back to Nairobi. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant. Nairobi Serena Hotel

Day 15 Nairobi-Depart
After a leisurely morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg, where you connect to the USA-bound overnight flight.

Day 16 Arrive USA
Arrive in the USA early this morning and connect to your homeward-bound flight, arriving later today.
